PERFORMANCE

Stage Antics believes in providing opportunities for the students to show their talents to family, friends and professionals from within the industry.

Within the school year, Stage Antics aims to present at least one stage production at a local venue allowing them to gain valuable experience performing in front of a live audience. From time to time, parents will also be invited into school to watch their children’s progress.

In 2007 Stage Antics produced a new show entitled "Heads and Tales" at the Arden Theatre in Faversham and in 2008 all Stage Antics students came together to perform the new revue "Kaleidescope"  at the Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury. Both shows played to sold out audiences and gave all students equal opportunities to showcase their singing, acting and dancing talents to friends and family. With  ecstatic applause ringing in their ears our young performers were given the encouragement and cheers that their incredible commitment so richly deserved!

Stage Antics students have also performed at many local events including  Faversham s Hop Festival, Medieval Pageant and the Davington Priory Fete.

We aim to provide as much hands on  professional experience for our students as possible. In the past we have produced in house workshops with stars of productions such as Saturday Night Fever and from Abba's hit movie "Mamma Mia". All those who attended these workshops found them to be incredibly inspirational events giving them even more confidence to improve their own abilities.
